Pros

Office training is a lot of fun but that's only for 1 hour every day.

Cons

You will be in a Costco or Sams Club selling internet and Direct TV. Unless you have a passion for talking to 100+ people per day trying to get them to sign up for tv and internet you should stay away. Compensation is poor and inconsistent. Some weeks you might make $1200 but the next you only make $400. They give you meaningless promotions to make you feel special and give you more responsibilities but you will never get a pay increase. The more promotions you get typically the less money you make because you are having to spend so much extra time training new employees and building your "sales team". You will work 6 days a week and will never know your work schedule until 2 days prior. For Example: weekly work schedules are released on Saturday and Wednesday. The Saturday schedule only has Sunday-Tuesday so it is impossible to plan ahead. Companies like this feed off of recent college graduates by telling them they will make 100k by their 2nd year but this is far from true. Not trying to completely bash the company but I want people coming out of college to understand this probably isn't what you want to do with your life.

Dear Reviewer, We appreciate your feedback as we value feedback regardless of the nature, because we believe it helps us better ourselves as well as the company. However, we would like to admit that we are a bit confused by this review. We acknowledge that you mentioned that we are not upfront, as we pride ourselves on having an open door policy. Pyramid schemes are illegal in the United States. All of our team members are W4 and I9 employees and are paid hourly or salary guaranteed wages. Also, we're a credited business with the BBB, incorporated within the state of North Carolina. In regards to the pay structure, North Carolina has a minimum wage of $7.25 per hour, however with Runnit we have a pay structure starting at $11.00 per hour for entry level position (no experience) plus commissions. We are offering a flexible schedule for all team members that can be adjusted. If there are scheduling conflicts we advise team members to bring them to us so we can work with them. Furthermore, it sounds like you're confused about our growth structure. We have an upfront screening and a 3-round interview process which establishes the day-to-day of each respective position and we encourage our applicants to ask questions. We have a structure very similar to other companies that promote from within like Hertz or Enterprise. We promote people based on merit, so our employees learn everything about how we run our business from the bottom up. We're sorry to hear that you didn't agree with that type of culture, but we make that very clear before anyone joins our team. We hope you find something that better suits your qualifications and impacts your life in a positive way. Best of luck in all your future endeavors and thank you again for your feedback.

Pros

I had just moved to the area and was looking for immediate hire. My hopes weren’t high as I needed some sort of income right away. However, after my first interview with Runnit I knew it wasn’t going to just be a job but a career. The team doesn’t miss a beat, everyone is on point, always interacting and the office is lively and inviting. They emphasized their family-team dynamic in the interview process but they were being completely honest. I walked in my first day and immediately my nerves were gone. They didn’t treat me as “the new guy”, I felt like I had been a part of the team for months. The team culture is refreshing, everyone works hard and pushes each other, they even do charity events and team nights outside of the office.

Cons

It is a very self-motivated type of role, if you work hard you will get the results you want but the job isn’t for slackers. You are constantly working in a team environment so if you are not a people person, you might want to look elsewhere.

Pros

I like the job because it has a lot of training and room for growth. I came in for marketing experience and the manager knew what he was talking about and has a lot of experience in marketing so I gave it a shot. I learned a lot about the entire marketing plan and now I get a lot of autonomy because I showed I could manage myself and contribute.

Cons

The first couple weeks were a ton of work and there was a learning curve but I have been here for almost a year now and it is much easier. Only con might be first two weeks because of load management.
