Pros

close to home, I don't have to drive out of town

Cons

The administration does not support its employees. They would rather we would rat each other out for minor infractions, than have us build a team rapport. The believe that anyone that is licensed is qualified. I do not feel valued. They start different projects, which cost money to start up, such as LEAN or Six Sigma and then do nothing with them. There is no room to grow. There are few if any raises.

Pros

Meeting a very few nice people.

Cons

This workplace has a very toxic and stressful environment. There is a clear presence of favoritism and cliques, which made it difficult to feel like part of the team. There was a pattern of constant reporting to management over minor or unclear issues. Instead of addressing concerns constructively or holding trainers accountable for inconsistent instruction, management placed blame on me for tasks I performed exactly as I had been trained. This lack of consistency and accountability created confusion and frustration. Additionally, there were noticeable double standards in the department. Some staff were allowed to use their phones and have drinks in the workspace, which violates standard protocols, while I felt closely monitored and scrutinized. This created a very uncomfortable atmosphere where I felt constantly watched and targeted, making it difficult to work confidently. The overall culture encouraged gossip, cattiness, and exclusion rather than teamwork and professionalism. Unfortunately, this behavior appeared to be tolerated—and at times reinforced—by management, which only made the environment more hostile. Even during orientation, I observed unprofessional and bullying behavior from HR staff, which raised early concerns about the organization’s culture. In hindsight, those concerns were valid. Overall, this was not a supportive or healthy work environment, and I would not recommend it to those looking for a collaborative and respectful workplace. very cliques/clicky coworkers and a pathetic manager/director who favors specific workers.
