Pros

Workshop employees Canteen Free tea and coffee

Cons

Poor management Little to no ability to engage staff Untrustworthy managers No scope to evolve and progress Throwing money at problems with little thought to the staff impact High staff turnaround since recent management restructure No follow up on appraisals - if you are lucky enough to actually be given one. No room for people who speak their mind or push back on ultimatums, given in such a way that the term ‘cowardly’ is not even close.

Pros

Flex-time (a bit of flexibility to achieve 80 hours of work)

Cons

Advancement ( pay increase or title promotion) are rare and only offered to a select group. Management will tell you that there are opportunities, but RF doesnt give regular evaluations which means they dont have to give raises. People have been fighting for the smallest increases. One guy just left after 20 yrs. Others are taking on extra duties to try to earn more money. 4 years without being considered for a raise is rough. HR is backwards and demeans people. Makes ppl feel beneath them. RF allows it. HR can snap at you, talk to you like a child and refuse to verify your employment when you leave (just a few real life examples). Morale is dead and control is high. Employees have asked for snacks forever only to receive micro cups used to rinse your mouth out to drink out of. Its ridiculous. Also new warehouse managers are encouraged to micromanage. Dont be fooled. They will sell a great story but it is currently a revolving door. Lost around 12 to 15 ppl in a yr (only 30 in the office). More ppl are looking to get out. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. Dont believe the hype and fall for the British accent. Trust me

Pros

toxic work environment, not a single manager is worthy of trust or honest. They just constantly lie and misinform and talk nonsense, I assume out of sheer incompetence and stupidity. The workflow is chaotic and disorganised, the atmosphere is charged with resentment and bitterness, the people working there are some of the most two-faced, despicable and cowardly human beings I've ever met. The pay rates are barely decent, the quality of their products is far from their claim of excellence, the amount of waste of brand new components and materials beggars belief, their supposedly "environmentally conscious" practices are but just a façade, I could go on...

Cons

no particular challenge to work there, that is, if you're willing to bend over, and be belittled and ridiculed almost any time you show any semblance of initiative, common sense or individuality
