Pros

Some coworkers were genuinely nice and supportive — you bond quickly when you're all suffering together. You’ll never need a gym membership again; the physical workload alone will keep you in shape. You get a behind-the-scenes look at how the postal system works (and sometimes how it barely works).

Cons

Low salary for the amount of physical labor required. Constant staff shortages, meaning you’re often doing the work of two or three people. Management often focuses more on numbers and deadlines than on people’s well-being. Limited opportunities for growth or career development — promotions feel more mythical than real. Work can be repetitive, exhausting, and mentally draining.
