Some coworkers were genuinely nice and supportive — you bond quickly when you're all suffering together. You’ll never need a gym membership again; the physical workload alone will keep you in shape. You get a behind-the-scenes look at how the postal system works (and sometimes how it barely works).

Low salary for the amount of physical labor required. Constant staff shortages, meaning you’re often doing the work of two or three people.
