Pros

Really great work environment. Everyone is very supportive and friendly, it really feels like a family. Awesome healthy snacks and drinks and gym opportunities.

Cons

While there are opportunities to gain more income it would be awesome if the base pay was higher, there's a lot of work that happens in a day.

Pros

I feel like working at RxWiki is dog years; I've only been here six weeks, but have experienced so much growth, excitement, and challenge that it should be counted as a year. I joined this team because of the (a) health of the product; and (b) the leadership. I did have some reservations in joining the company. I knew coming in that the team had experienced extreme turmoil over the last year. There was a complete 360 in the executive leadership. There had been two layoffs. The core team of 31 people I joined had were weathered, and their energy was low. However, I am over the moon happy with my decision to join this team. During my fourth week at the company, we ran a Culture Survey to gauge employee engagement. While there were some expected results in the survey -- i.e., people were ready for things to stop changing so rapidly -- the overwhelming opinion was that RxWiki was going to succeed, people loved their co-workers and daily challenges, and they were excited for the direction the leadership was taking the company. This is a revealing testament about the health of the organization. A week later, we won the 50 on Fire 2016 Award in Austin. Talk about external validation! Yes, the product is resonating in the market. Yes, this office is filled to the brim with talent. However, with all the change over the past year, you'd expect people to lose passion, energy, and drive. This is false, and I am extremely excited to be working with this team.

Cons

Things change FAST around here. If you find motivation and drive in being pushed daily, this is the place for you to work. However, if you want to come into an environment where everything is defined, look elsewhere.

Pros

Most of the early employees (they went to school together or were friends of the founder's daughter or lived in the same apartment building) have now left or been let go and the new VC backed management team seems to be getting things under control / building a serious business. New management is open with information, revenues are growing and we seem well funded. As long as you work hard and deliver, you can do well here. The new COO is very down to earth, has great ideas about how to improve the product.

Cons

There is still a lot of change, the current offices are 3rd rate, office technology is a mess and our products have been very slow to roll out (we just hired a new CIO, hopefully he can turn it around).
