If you are related to a key player then you will be fine.
Pros
S. L. Nusbaum has an overall good reputation due to their philanthropic efforts within the community. The key players think strategically in many aspects geared toward growth which has a positive effect on financial stability.
Cons
Nusbaum is very much a friends and family environment. If you are related to someone there nepotism factors in positively to your growth as an employee. Many departments are short-changed in pay, training and support. There is a clear glass ceiling for women and executive titles are given for tenure in lieu of pay. This is clearly illustrated by looking at all the VP's they have on their contact list. If you are not a property owner there is little chance to partner in investment opportunities. Their pay scale is below average and they pick and choose when they will treat employees fairly and when it may cost too much to do so they do not. There is a clear good old boys network, especially in the multi-family division.
