Pros

Good office location. Discounted product. Free Equinox membership.

Cons

I felt compelled to share that team members are being incentivized by Human Resources and Management staff to write positive reviews on this platform. My advice to prospective employees would be to think twice before entrusting your careers to internally influenced reviews.

Pros

I met some great people during my time at S'well a lot of who left a long time ago.

Cons

There is a reason that this company needs to incentivize current employees to leave good reviews. I think a lot of these reviews speak for themselves however this is what I saw personally. During my time at S'well I saw the following on a regular bias. -Management screaming at employees over issues they themselves did not understand - Rash and thoughtless structure changes on random wims - The belittlement and replacement of any strong female leadership - A high level male member of the management team grabbing a female employee after berating her in front of the entire company - The management team jeopardizing the safety of employees during a business trip by not providing critical information. - Rumors of multiple employee termination lawsuits Do not waste your talents here and if you are currently there best of luck on getting out fast. I have worked in multiple start ups and this is not typical "start up culture, fast paced."

Amazing product, terrible leadership, toxic work environment

Pros

Happy hour, Bagel Mondays, Equinox Membership

Cons

Don't get me wrong, the S'well brand revolves around a collection of a few beautiful products that also happen to help save our planet! Nothing wrong with that. While it felt amazing to be part of a greater purpose, the work environment was by far the most toxic place I have ever worked at. Portrayed as a woman led company, S'well is run mostly (solely) by a few power-hungry men who could learn a thing or two about the current gender focused political climate. Despite the many resignations, neither the CEO , nor HR seem to understand how toxic the upper management team is. The people actually doing the work get no recognition and get pushed around. Do not work here if you are a female and/or believe in equality in the work place. S'well has the potential to get back on its feet and be the company it was a few years ago but at the moment, stay away.
