Clicky company and poor budget performance.
Pros
Benefits and if you're a favorite or friend of management, you get a lot more. You get to move up in their department if you hang out with them after work and do things with them. I complained to management about internal department negative behavior, but my manager didn't do anything about it. I tried working with the team, but it seemed that they were on a mission to push me out. They would talk behind my manager's closed door about me. It's too bad because I really thought this was a great company, but as I continued working there, these people acted fake and talk behind my back. I don't know how else to explain it. If you choose to work for them, be warned.
Cons
Favoritism, clicky, backstabbers, they smile while they are pushing you out the door because you're not in their group of friends. They don't like people who aren't their friends. The executive management team is trying to reach $5 billion by any means necessary, so they have been cleaning house a lot. They want a culture like a large corporation, even though they are non profit and should be supporting both members and employees. They have been pushing great talent out of the company. This company has over 30% turnover, total. Not only that, they also spend crazy.....I'm surprised the board, membership, and NCUA aren't upset. They go over budget every year and overwrote loans in 2018...so much in fact, they couldn't write any more new loans and didn't replace loan officers when they left the company. That company has lost a great deal of talented staff.
