Management sets unrealistic goals for staff and shows clear favoritism. Supervisor would speak poorly about staff in front of other staff. Mental health billing is how SAFY makes their money and management places more emphasis on receiving billing hours than the wellbeing of the children. Pay is salary and staff work more than 40 hours a week. I averaged about 50 hours a week. There is a lot of driving and mileage reimbursement is not enough to cover gas and regular car maintenance. Many of the foster parents were abusive to youth and SAFY only gave a rules violation rather than closing unsafe foster homes.

being on call for 50 dollars for one week, very high levels of stress, not enough time with my own family, work is never done, poor supervisor skills, taken for granted.
