Fun Work Environment, but Pay and Management Could Use Some Work
Pros
The office culture at SBR Events Group is definitely one of the best things about working here. Everyone is very friendly, supportive, and fun to be around, which makes for a positive and engaging work environment. It’s easy to build strong relationships with your colleagues, and teamwork is encouraged across all levels. There’s also a lot of flexibility with hours, which is a huge plus. It allows for a better work-life balance and gives employees the freedom to manage their schedules, which is really appreciated.
Cons
On the downside, the pay can be a concern, as it doesn't always align with the cost of living or the level of responsibility employees take on. There also seems to be a disconnect between management and employees in terms of understanding and addressing employee needs. One specific issue is that the head of accounting, who also handles HR duties, is based remotely and makes key business decisions from out of state. This can create a sense of disconnect or lack of accessibility for employees who may feel their concerns aren't being heard or addressed in a timely manner.
