      Pros

      Honestly can’t think of any pros. Don’t be fooled by their job advert and interview day - just sit back and look at staff retention

      Cons

      Awful working conditions Excessive travel to meetings/training Unnecessary training Lack of support - only ever via email or phone Constant changes - never give anything a chance Lack of safeguarding for staff members (1 member of staff at a site) Poor quality uniform (2 tops for the week) Lack of knowledge around BTEC guidelines 90% of learners have less than 2 GCSEs but SCL put them on Level2/3 courses Shortage of maths and English teachers - sport lecturers expected to deliver and get students through GCSE Quals!! Company is very large and spread over the UK which causes so many issues!

      Pros

      There are many many pros about working at SCL - the biggest one is the staff here; people at the organisation are extremely supportive, professional and hard-working, from HR down to club tutors and fellow GCSE specialists. From the on-boarding process to where I am now, everything has been so smooth and I genuinely believe I work for a company that actually cares about me and my career. Love working here because I feel I can actually make a difference to students' lives :)

      Cons

      I haven't experienced any cons working for SCL so far - you are expected to work hard but that is reflective of the ethos of the company and I don't consider that a negative!!

      Pros

      Since I have joined SCL I have experienced nothing but kindness and acceptance. The staff are welcoming and extremely helpful. I have had no worries or troubles regarding work as I've got the best manager who is always on hand to support me with anything that I may need. I love working for SCL.

      Cons

      There are no cons for working at SCL as I have not had any sort of problem being an employee of SCL
