      Pros

      Tons of smart co workers, working with interesting tech to solve real world problems in the education space. Management is very transparent.

      Cons

      Because they are privately funded and not yet profitable they are susceptible to market fluctions more than a more established company.

      Pros

      Passionate leaders relentlessly focused on improving outcomes for the students. Lots of great hires recently, specifically bringing in seasoned Admissions professionals to the team. Benefits are terrific. Really terrific for such a small company. $0 medical for a family. Not only $0 premiums but also a fully funded spend account to cover any co-pays and deductibles. 100% matched 401k immediately vested.

      Cons

      More than doubling in size while transitioning to be fully remote during a pandemic. Choose any 1 of those 3 milestones on their own and they come with challenges. Put all 3 together and it creates a lot of challenges. Company values are written down somewhere but not put into practice. Little emphasis on team building and having fun.
