This place is a joke

Pros

There are basically no rules (management is weak and careless)

Cons

Terrible pay. You won't be able to survive in San Diego working here. Too much is taken out to pay for your benefits in addition to low pay. Everyone needs another job to make it work, so plan on bartending at night or weekends to make ends meet. Owner drives around in ridiculous luxury cars yet the staff can't afford basic necessities. There's no room for advancement if you're female and they never give raises. Good ole boys club in female industry. Only a few males in the company and they are fast-tracked to upper management with no merit and even no experience in the industry while highly qualified women are bypassed for these roles. HR and upper management are known to gossip and harbor a toxic work environment. There's zero trust so people just do the bare minimum and treat the job like it's a joke. They keep opening locations yet the ones they have aren't busy enough. No one is coming in anymore because the good injectors leave and take their patients with them. Staff is leaving left and right and those of us left are all actively looking for more professional and rewarding situations.

Pros

Majority of the people who work there are nice. Lots of opportunities to receive free skincare products and treatments. Fun culture with a monthly potluck.

Cons

More professionalism would greatly improve the office environment. Lots of micromanaging and gossip that promotes a toxic work environment. You are expected to do majority of the work and take back to back calls, while receiving hypercritical treatment and unnecessary gossip about the other employees. Doors are closed in the office while people talk behind others back. Very unprofessional. This type of culture doesn't promote a friendly workplace. Zero growth opportunities which were promised during the interview. During your 90 day probation period you are expected to know everything and if you mess up, you are let go instead of being pulled aside to discuss ways to improve. Lots of employees are let go before the 90 day probation period is over when they are just about to receive the discount and instead new employees are hired to take their place. Expect people to be fake nice to you and if you don't reciprocate the over exaggerated personality back, you are told "you don't seem like you like the job". Very cliquey.

Pros

Clients are overall pretty nice and there's a few decent people who work there and feel the same way about the company. The owner is a nice and genuine individual, and I believe they may not be fully aware of the managerial situations occurring in other locations.

Cons

The workplace could greatly improve with better management. Following a managerial change, the current manager tends to micromanage and criticize every aspect of your performance, treating employees as if they were robots with no consideration for work-life balance. This manager maintains a consistently negative attitude, which extends to interactions with customers, while demanding perfection from everyone else. The overall atmosphere is toxic, prompting many to contemplate leaving or enduring emotional abuse if they stay working in the call center. Additionally, there's a misleading promise of discounted procedures after 90 days, only for the company to lay off individuals reaching this milestone, leaving them without the promised treatments. Not to mention they pay you close to minimum wage.
