      Good starting point for graduates

      Pros

      People in the lab were nice and friendly. The whole company shuts down for xmas holiday for PTO and the 401k matching program was decent

      Cons

      Technology has slow advancement and lacks in development. Lab techniques are limited and can be monotonous. No room for growth.

      Pros

      Pay is decent for management positions, but below market for many positions lower than that. Located in Orange County.

      Cons

      Company is floundering under current management. No real product innovation since the mid 1990s. Majority of employees are unhappy here and despise management. Recent lay-offs of a high number of employees have made it much worse for employees and for customers of SDC. People in the industry are talking, and it's not good.
