Pros

Local managers are great but unfortunately, all their hard work and dedication to the company and staff is overshadowed by the person above them.

I really wanted to like working here. I began employment here as a Supervisor in late August of this year, and my last day was November 31st. During that time, I had the displeasure of working with the “president” of SDLA. Or is it “vice president”? Owner? Co-owner? I’m not quite sure because he says something different every time he introduces himself to new people, but there’s one thing that’s certain: He’s as pompous as he is incompetent. The thought of him running this company was beyond discouraging during my tenure. He swaggers like a schoolyard bully, then grovels when confronted by Amazon management above him. I’ve never seen such a collection of narcissistic tendencies try so hard to pose as the personality of a successful businessman. He often refers to himself as “Jesus”. My whole time there, every day, on every shift, he has created a toxic and hostile work environment not only for myself, but for all of the other supervisors there. One of them even called him a sexist in front of the drivers. There are multiple cases of drivers continuing to work with injuries incurred on the job, making their injuries worse, simply because they are afraid to report workers-comp incidents to this person. He often tells the drivers that he’d rather have the job done right by following all the standards set by Amazon, but frequently violates procedure and rarely follows his own advice. Please, do yourself a favor and do not waste your time at this company.

Cons

Terrible place to work. They will lie to you from the start. (Pay, job description,) no training, Great place to work if you are looking for your first job and are 18 years old. No drug test as well. Chino station is run by children who think there managers. (No experience) two are family and the others are former drivers. They will pressure you to deliver faster and faster even if you break state laws. Total disregard for safety and laws as long as Amazon is happy. Company works on favoritism. I would not recommend to anyone.
