Pros

I have nothing but good experiences and positive things to say about my time at SEO Locale. Having come into the world of digital marketing with limited experience, the goal from day one from management was to provide me with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed. Having worked in various office settings, SEO Locale's definitely stood apart from those experiences in the best way possible, with a culture and general atmosphere that encouraged employees to be themselves and feel comfortable at work. Leadership, from executives to directors to project managers all worked diligently to furnish a culture of hard work, accountability and professional growth in a fun, fast-paced environment. Better still, were the benefits and opportunities to really step up, advance and make an impact with fresh ideas and ingenuity. I can't say enough about the valuable experience and wonderful professional memories I've made working for SEO Locale. It's perfect for young professionals looking to move up and experienced digital marketers looking to challenge themselves with the help of a well-recognized entity in the field.

Cons

Like any agency position, the workload does become demanding, but there is always help and support from team members to help employees achieve goals and stay on track. You are never on your own at SEO Locale.

Pros

Working at SEO Locale has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. The office is a great environment. We have ping pong, pool, video game systems, and even a bar we can use during the day when we need a short break. It keeps the atmosphere upbeat and gives everyone a chance to reset when things get busy. The culture is very collaborative. We talk through ideas, help each other when we hit a wall, and share what we know so everyone keeps growing. Nick and Marc set the tone for that. They want us to grow and they take that seriously. If there is something we want to learn, a skill we want to build, or a part of the business we want to understand better, they make the time for it. There is no limit to what they are willing to teach if we are willing to put in the effort. You can walk in with a question and walk out with a whole new understanding of how something works. They are also very family first, which is something I value a lot. If something happens with your kids or family and you need to leave, they do not hesitate to tell you to go take care of it. They do not make you feel guilty or worried about your job. The team immediately steps in to cover what needs to be covered and they make sure you are supported. It feels like they care about us as people, not just employees. There are days that feel effortless and days that challenge you. Sometimes things get tense, which is normal in any workplace. No one here expects perfection. What matters is learning, taking accountability, and being open to improving. I’ve learned that people decide the experience they are going to have at any job. If you get criticism, it is there to help you grow. What you do with it is up to you. When you take it the right way, you realize how much you can accomplish here. The support is steady and the opportunities to improve are always available. The dress culture is relaxed, which I really appreciate. You do not have to come in dressed up every day. Some days we all show up in sweats and it is completely fine unless clients are visiting. We are encouraged to wear our favorite sports teams or whatever makes us feel comfortable and focused. We also have the option to work from home two days a week. About half the team takes advantage of it and half of us still come in because we genuinely like being together. We used to be fully virtual, but once we opened the office, most of us preferred working in an open floor plan where it is easier to collaborate, laugh, and feel connected. Outside of work hours, we do a lot together as well. We go to Phillies games, Top Golf, and other outings that make the group feel connected. We also have a team happy hour once a month where we can unwind, talk, and enjoy each other’s company. Those moments help balance the tougher days and make the good days even better. If you want a workplace where you can grow, feel supported, be challenged in a healthy way, and work with people who care about what they do, SEO Locale is a great place to build your career.

Cons

The work can move quickly, and some days are harder than others. That is normal for agency life. You have to be comfortable taking feedback, learning from mistakes, and staying organized. If someone prefers a slow or quiet environment where they can blend into the background, this might be tough. But if you’re open to growing, the pace becomes a positive.
