Pros
There are some genuinely great people working here. As a programme coordinator you might gain some valuable tips for career development that support future job applications/interviews.
Cons
Salary is low - it is evident that the company relies on, and takes advantage of, fresh graduates and university students to deliver their programmes and do the grunt work. Lack of progression and recognition of your work - you will have to fight for any pay increases and carve development opportunities for yourself. Management issues go unresolved, even when there is awareness of issues across the senior leadership and HR teams. Undervalued within the team and opinions not listened to when decisions are being made. A disappointing attitude to diversity and inclusion from some staff members - particularly upsetting considering the nature of the work of the charity and its mission.
