Pros
Great place to work! Quality of life is the highest of any place that I have ever worked - bar none. People are smart, helpful, and friendly. Their technology is clean and always evolving, and they're not afraid to take on big, interesting projects. It's the kind of place where a technologist can really thrive. And because it's a small shop there isn't any bureaucracy. It really is a gem of a place! I've worked at many places that claim to "put people first", but really don't. SG truly does put its people first, which is evident in the culture of the place. I always felt that my work was valued, my ideas were listened to, and my contributions were meaningful. The technology is constantly improving, which makes it an exciting place to work. They strive to be cutting edge in tools and development methodologies. Modern C++ is a way of life. Expertise in many areas runs deep, and as a result I was always learning something.

Because it is a smaller shop the salary and benefits aren't the highest in the industry.
