Pros

There really aren't any. At best you could say that it is highly process driven, for those that don't like ambiguity.

Cons

A giant machine bureaucracy, with profit as it's only motive. Faced with extremely negative feedback from it's employees and trouble recruiting, they addressed it by rolling out a marketing campaign (100% SGS) to tell people how 'great' it is. It's not.

Pros

The pay rate and shift work (4on/4off) allow for a balance in work and leisure. Making great working connections and experience within the mining industry.

Cons

Long Hours, Hard work, respiratory issues, mainly casual employment (easily dismissed without notice) and equipment malfunction.

Pros

The other lab techs and lab assistants are nice people.

Cons

I was prevented from taking my lunch break, as I was not provided with an access card. The working environment was also extremely dangerous and I genuinely feared for my life every minute I worked there.
