The owners of the company like to show how much money they make (photos of their yacht, etc.), which is great. But then they nickle and dime us - we have to buy our own tissues and pens and paper. The guy who stocked the coffee/tea was too expensive so now we rely on office management to make runs to Costco (and since it is not their priority, we run out of supplies). No back up development computer, so that if yours breaks, there is no down time - just grab the new one and hit the road running. That kind of stuff. Also, suddenly they decided no more working from home, even once a week. This has put a BIG damper on moral and will make it hard to attract talent from the near by, but not so near by Silicon Valley.

Management in Greensboro has a lot of problems and puts a lot of unfair pressure on the CA team. Employees are helpless and have no protection against the whims of management. In-office management is either overly involved or completely uninterested for the most part. Very little room for career growth within the CA office, especially for non-technical roles, even though it was promised to me when I started.
