Pros are ONLY relevant to the timeframe prior to 2021. No longer applies to 2022. -Management that listens and acts -Management that encourages and grows within -Culture that nourishes existing employees to become the future leaders -In 2015, 25% of the Bank's employees had worked with the organization for over 25 years. Sadly, that is not the case in 2022.

Cons

With the transition between the parent company over the subsidiary (MB), the values and culture of Manufacturers Bank started shifting from what once used to be a sound and healthy environment into a toxic, non-sustainable, and unhealthy work place filled with politics and unfair, unequal, and deceptive employee treatment.

Sizable support and training from SMBC.

Cons

People in managerial roles would really benefit from management skills and effective communication training. Career progression is so limited that people stay in same roles at least ten years, on average. Individual groups do as they please with no regard of company-wide policy. Managers are so fixed on a certain mindset that there is no diversity and inclusion. People like to talk badly about others’ compensation and performance behind their backs. Go somewhere else where they value your skills and experience.
