Dated under a facade of a progressive off-Manhattan marketing firm
Pros
-Stable company, solid history, and well organized -Team is nice, courteous, and professional -Office is beautiful with modern furniture -Bagel Mondays -Fantastic graphics department
Cons
-Not good at communicating expectations. -Despite the pro above about the team, there is an atmosphere that I can only describe at best as "tolerable roommates" when it comes to rapport with each other. Office would get uncomfortably quiet, even when the whole team was on site. -That same office furniture is never used except for photo shoots or the occasional visitor. -Printed papers. Everywhere. Printouts for digital content. Printouts for work queues. Printouts of drafts. Printouts of reports. Printouts of emails. Yes, emails. All housed in a ridiculously oversized plastic sleeve that eats up half your desk. This is by far the least 'paperless' office I have ever worked in, especially as a digital marketing agency. -Outdated systems -Outdated tech -Outdated strategies -Outdated mentalities -Attempts at improving these outdated components is brushed off by supervisors that have the mentality that their x years of experience automatically trumps the expertise for which you were hired.
