SNY is now going on almost 2 years of having a website that takes 10+ seconds to load and is getting worse in search performance by the day Caught a coworker repeatedly calling me names on Slack to another colleague. Meanwhile, they hand out a subjective "performance improvement plan" to one of their top performers because "it's not what we do, it's how we do it" but can't clearly articulate how the plan is objective. Confusing direction given verbally in 1-on-1 meetings, contradictory follow up feedback given in written form. It's a toxic environment when people can't feel psychologically safe or comfortable enough to talk to each other. Instead of people addressing their issues with another party head on, they complained to a supervisor. That doesn't lead to trust, that leads to doubt, fear, contempt, and resentment. not healthy whatsoever, bad attitudes turn what could be a dream job into a nightmare
