Pros

Supportive environment by some reporting managers, open work culture.

Cons

It's unfair that you dismissed some of your employees for the reasons "closed off many projects", "not enough funds", while other employees received their salary increments. It shows that you have the dirty politics in your organisation, or you wanted to keep the budget for your own increments or bonuses, or for some favourite employees. When you want to recruit the person, it took so many layers and processes. But when you have recruited the employee, and you no longer wanted to keep them, you just simply dismissed them. It's unfair and so bias.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience during your time at SOLS Foundation, we appreciate the directness in your feedback. We are glad you experienced a supportive environment and open work culture during your time here. We understand your concerns regarding restructuring, role changes, and overall fairness. In periods where projects close or funding shifts, especially in impact-driven and grant-dependent environments, difficult organisational decisions sometimes need to be made. That said, we recognise that such transitions can be challenging and may have caused frustration or stress, which is why we always try to be flexible and supportive of team members who are transitioning out of the organisation. Thank you for acknowledging the thorough effort we take to recruit an individual. This is because all decisions related to staffing, compensation, and budget allocation are made with careful consideration and are not based on favoritism or personal interest. We work very hard with all our team members to provide them with training, feedback and support in areas they need improvement while acknowledging and celebrating their strengths. Still, we acknowledge that even more communication and transparency during these moments are crucial, and your feedback highlights areas where we can continue to improve. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and for your contributions during your time with us. We wish you the very best in your future endeavours and continued success in your journey.
