- I have learned an incredible amount about coding and administration from this job. You could say I went from 0 to Web Developer in my time here so far. - The fact that this is a small company gives you a huge leg up when it comes to being a web developer. Each of the developers here had to learn everything about server management - from frontend design, backend logic, database design, server admin, version control - everything was shared equally by all developers. I don't think I would get nearly as much experience in these things if I was working at a much larger company, where they would most likely force you to learn a very small component at a time. - My coworkers are great, I really enjoy going into work every day. We have a really great environment. - The company looks out for me - they really try to personalize our jobs and they offer many side benefits - we go out to baseball games and hang out together, and often have lunch paid for. I feel like I can be honest with my boss about any concerns. - Everyone that works here is very encouraging and never arrogant - we always ask each other for help. I felt like I always had my coworkers by my side to ask for another opinion. - Regular raises and bonuses. Loyalty is really important to build over time with this company, and they will reward you for it.

The greatest thing that comes to mind is the work environment. Once the trust of SOURCE has been earned, they will go out of their way to take care of their hard working employees. The team environment inspires a feeling of camaraderie when tackling different problems with each individuals unique perspective. The beauty of the tight knit team dynamic is that everyone's voice is heard and every potential solution explored. Another great thing I love about SOURCE is the constant push to learn, upgrade, and enhance the technology we utilize to produce highly polished and efficient software. I have a great deal of pride in the end product SOURCE delivers to its clients. There is no lack of opportunity, the amount of work that comes through the door ensures that overtime and outside projects are, more often that not, readily available. SOURCE keeps its employees fed. The fridge is always stocked with something good and lunch is provided for the office on a regular basis. SOURCE cares about the stress level and the overall health of its employees; that's why every so often, the company will sponsor an outing for everyone to hang out and forget about work for a bit. This is great, after a hard week of grinding through code, its nice to take a Friday and go watch the Astros play, compliments of SOURCE. In closing, I may not own SOURCE Web Solutions, but the company has a way of making its employees feel a sense of ownership, in the work and the success of the company as a whole. It's a good feeling.
