Disingenuous CEO; rampant PC culture pushing for "diversity" which fails you if you are white, straight male and aren't covered in tattoos with numerous piercings; horrendous Management; inept personnel; no opportunities down the line despite what they tell you to hire you
Nice people
Decent pay IF and only IF you are hired on directly to SPOT
Cons
They are a 3rd party support group hired on by Nest for tech support
The products Nest developed although neat were rushed out way too fast hence the recall of the Nest smoke detector
The same managers who smile in your face one month will turn their back on you the next month
In the end you're just a number in a call center with no way of moving up to any real better position.
Managers manage you but most of them have no real knowledge of the very product they support.
Some are not true leaders at all who have your back.
Free coffee, nice walks around the building on your lunch break. CEO's are approachable, but won't do anything for you. Some nice monetary bonuses for a start up.
Cons
Low pay for entry level with zero chance of getting hired on unless you are ethnic, homosexual, or already knew someone from within company. All other salaried positions are hired from outside the company.
