Pros

There are actually some pros to working here like free bagels on Friday and time spent with employees whose last names rhyme with flyer, lock, and Wigam

Cons

If your religious ideology does not incorporate a hell I strongly urge you to reconsider. Because I found it. It's real. This is a place where Santa Claus does not visit. Dreams and imagination do not live here. This is unequivocally the number one worst place to work both east and west of the Mississippi. I would sell my first born daughter into slavery before going back here. If you choose to work here I will quote the movie Taken and tell you in an Albanian accent "good luck." Billable hours are 12 per day. In a 22 day month that comes out to 264 hours. What the!?!?!? Some clients cap billables at 10 per day. Too bad so sad there's always weekends, holidays, birthdays, funerals, anniversaries, and hospital stays. Met your billable goal for the month? Well then work some more because...well...why are you ever not working? Not allowed to work on a file? No problem bill it in someone else's name so the firm can get the money. Have a hearing 4 hours away? Nope silly boy not going to get a hotel but be sure to leave by 4:30AM to get there on time. Tired? Drink diet coke. They're provided free in the fridge to make sure you're a wired neurotic mess all day. In summation, the worst. Like Nike says "just (don't) do it."

Thank you for acknowledging that our employees work hard. We hire and retain the most capable and diligent professionals in the workers’ compensation industry, and that is why we are a leading firm in this space. That being said, we make every effort to achieve a proper work/life balance, and we are extremely mindful of providing appropriate support for travel demands. We appreciate you taking the time to review your former place of employment, and please email us (info@srtklaw.com) with any additional feedback you might have.

Horrible Place to Work

Pros

The best reason to work here is you are truly desperate for a job. Which, let's face it, many people are these days. Also, they provide free bagels on Fridays.

Cons

The challenges are dealing with the lawyers who think they are God's gift to the world. The barracuda that ran the place used to walk the hallways and ask, "Who wants to get fired today?" It was funny. She was joking. Get it? No? It probably wasn't all that great for morale, but what do I know? I'm only a lowly secretary.

We can assure you that we value each and every employee’s contribution to the firm and do not place any one contribution above another. We are a team, and great work and service are produced via the teamwork mentality we instill at each office. We would appreciate any insight you can provide into which attorney created this environment for you. Please email us (info@srtklaw.com) with that, and any additional feedback you may have.

Legal Assistant

Pros

None. (I only gave this "one" star because this site wouldn't allow me to put "no" star.)

Cons

Sweatshop for legal assistants. Extreme high volume of work and extreme pressure to produce fast with zero errors. Micromanaging. Admin sets you up for failure. Constant write ups. Favoritism. High turn over. Secretaries constantly walking off job!! Attorneys treat secretaries horrible and believe they walk on water. Do not value or appreciate secretaries' hard work and dedication. Rude and condescending. DO NOT WORK HERE IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!

Working at a leading law firm is not an easy task and that is why we hire the most competent, experienced professionals, and understand when an employee leaves for a more realistic fit. Rest assured that every employee is a valued and respected member of the team, and we frown upon any type of favoritism or disrespect. Thank you again, and please don’t hesitate to email us (info@srtklaw.com) with any additional feedback you have.
