Cons

When all you are left with is a group of employees that would not get hired by any professional organization, you wonder why there is no business on the horizon.

Pros

There are a lot of very hard-working, dedicated, creative team players at STARA. A very positive experience overall. Production, engineering and technical writing departments all have some wonderful people who are a credit to the organization and the aerospace industry.

Cons

Irrational territoriality on the part of only one member of middle management help myself and a lot of others to choose more amenable employers. This sadly typical ego-driven insecurity is why many small companies with awesome potential STAY small companies.

Good people, bad mangement.

Pros

People were great. Health benefits were decent. Willing to train new people and work around people schedules who had kids. End of the year bonuses were nice.

Cons

Management basically ran this company into the ground. Had so much potential but did not diversify and when contracts ran out- money ran out. They put all their eggs in one basket and failed miserably.
