Pros

Very high salary for some positions, decent for others. Great benefits (Fully paid, nothing out of your pocket and extremely low co-pays). Interesting work with travel, both throughout the USA and abroad. All expenses paid. You will master Excel and Power Point. You will either meet extremely demanding challenges or fail trying.

Cons

The problem with STEM is the management. If you are not at expert at whatever job they have posted, do not expect training or a willingness to help you grow. Long Hours are the norm. Some management has lost sight of what a normal schedule is. There is no such thing as Work-Life Balance at this company. 60+ hours is the norm, but expect to work around 70+ and then still be told you are not dedicated. It is unhealthy. It is the reason, despite the excellent pay and benefits, that many people leave... except for those that are terminated with little-to-no notice. No real explanation given. No second chances for whatever perceived slight... The con is the management style of the principal US leader for this company. They are not empathetic to you an an employee, you are just a means to an end and in their mind, very replaceable.

Pros

Fun people. You are only taught basic skills of excel and PowerPoint , the role is a lie and you are not a business analyst/strategic consultant so there are no prospects for your career. Because of the "family" culture it's a toxic environment where only favourites are promoted- you are more likely to be promoted if you're white. There is a known diversity and inclusion issue so please do not apply if that is of value to you otherwise you will be disrespected. The parents of this family (management) do not know what their doing but you can probably tell from the other reviews on Glassdoor.

Cons

You will develop a mental illness You will not personally nor professionally develop You will not get promoted if you're BME You will be treated unfairly by seniors and they will get away with it. You will sacrifice your life with those ridiculous working hours during busy season Do yourself a favour and get a real job with real prospects. You can thank me for saving you.

Pros

I'm only here still because of the people and the current pandemic has heavily reduced job prospects, especially as I have 2 years listed as a Junior Business Analyst at STEM without doing any BA work that any respectable firm would consider.

Cons

There is no ounce of BA work at all. The management is awful, heavily based on who you like in order for you to progress. The high requirements for the job do not make any sense as the work doesn't require any brain cells. The hours during the busy periods are ridiculous.
