Pros

More or less stable products, not many customer complaints come directly to developers. Colleagues are friendly and helpful. The salary is good. Work life balance is okay. Office attendence two days per week is required but hours spent in are not monitored (yet). Team events are organised from time to time. Visiting the Belgian office is possible, but not mandatory.

Cons

Work is rarely technical despite the possibilities. Difficult and lengthy to access tools and third party libraries due to security policies. A lot of bureaucracy. Time is not provided for proper upskilling. Terrible performance evaluation system, not based on true performance. Poor management, they don't listen to the staff. Micromanagement from non-technical managers. Hard to get constructive feedbacks, people are reluctant to share their honest opinions. Open office is too noisy.
