At Least the Clients are Grateful!!!

Pros

The clients that are served through this organization (and the vacation package!!) are truly the only reason to work here. A few members of the outreach team are pretty nice too.

Cons

Lack of Training. "Just when you think you have it all figured out, it will change again and you will have to start all over!!" Lack of Professionalism. Several issues come to mind... so much so that I don't have time or space to list them all. "everyone, knows everything, about everybody." Office Politics. "Its not what you know. Its not even who you know. The question is who's butt are you gonna kiss?" Lack of Confidentiality. Lack of Support. Lousy Pay for the type of work provided. No Appreciation for their Employees. No dedication, loyalty, or back up when needed.I always felt as though they were only looking out for themselves and their "grant money" rather than the actual clients!! In my experience, I felt they were willing to sacrifice clients progress for financial gain and political reputation. I COULD GO ON BUT I DON'T THINK I NEED TO!!!

New leadership

Pros

New leadership has made it better. It used to be a bit disorganized but now it has more clear direction.

Cons

The old leadership may have left the org with a bad lasting impression, but seems as if they are making really positive strides in the community.
