      Pros

      The (Belcamp) IT group is a great group of people. I will do what ever I can to convince/help them to leave!!!

      Cons

      They have horrible security practices. Source code is scattered everywhere, they do not care. There are hundreds of thousands of vulnerabilities and management refuses to accept the fact that the company is at grave right of losing all intellectual property, because of this. But, since my boss stated that protecting intellectual property is not a priority, so I guess I'm the crazy one. What?

      Pros

      When I worked there, it was still operating as a smaller company, but they were doing a number of acquisitions. They might very well be a larger company now, but back then it was a good working environment.

      Cons

      They might be growing a bit too much. Also, with all of the acquisitions, there have been a few rounds of layoffs, which is something to consider if you are looking for employment.

      Pros

      Working for a global company that is respected in the security industry. The culture is nice.

      Cons

      Too top-heavy. No career path if you are not in sales or marketing. If you are not working all of the time, you will not be considered for any promotion and/or advancement. The pay is not aligned with the DC/VA/MD corridor. Basically, you get your experience here, and then move onto another company for improved compensation.
