The CFO at SageWater is by far the worst boss I have ever worked for. She described herself to me as “the kind of boss who is like the hardass teacher you had in high school that you look back on with respect.” She is a bully and makes you feel stupid when you talk to her; she seems to enjoy talking down to people. If you try to stand up to her on any of this, you will be reprimanded by her second in command, the controller, who is just there to do her bidding. They have been through 3 different people with the position I held in about a year, because no one can survive under the bullying by the CFO and her enabler, the controller. If you tell the controller anything he just repeats it all back to the CFO. The CFO will email at all hours and there is not much of a work-life balance.
