I worked at Sahara for 10 years and grew so much during that time. I met many people who became close friends, and developed a great relationship with the directorship who are kind, open to ideas and enthusiastic. Fashion is a notorious industry for toxic work environments, but I can't say this was my experience working with Sahara. Each day was exciting and fast-paced, but always with a good sense of camaraderie and a few laughs. I always felt my voice and opinion were heard and considered. The office is beautifully designed and a warm, bright, bubbly environment in which to work. Very sociable too.
Cons
You need to be a self-starter here. As with any fast-growing business, the pace is high, and people have their attention split between many focus points. However, if your work speaks for itself and you ask for it, they are encouraging with helping progression forward to new roles.
