Pros

Really struggling here, I can't really think of much.

Cons

Indirectly expected to work a lot of hours, a lot of fire fighting, most hires are fresh out of college or younger than average. People are let go with out much thought, very expensive and not so great healthcare if you use it. Have never seen so many employees in one place, all drinking the startup "Kool-Aid"

Pros

You get a chance to travel to new york city.

Cons

The company will likely flag this review for removal like all others, but here goes nothing. There are many things wrong with this company, but they can be summarized in: poor inexperienced leaders, flight or fight culture, lack of worklife balance, poor product vision. The leadership at this company has driven many people out the door unfortunately, very good hard working people have questioned their own self worth and professional self esteem due to the actions of Sailes. They offer very little but demand everything, all your free time, energy and patience. And when you are unwilling to give 100% of yourself to them, they will claim arent dedicated and you should look elsewhere. Its truly sad. Poorly led and managed, they need a professional CEO who can make a difference.

Pros

Opportunity to work for a start up Interesting segment Other employees are friendly Builds resilience Equity provided liberally

Cons

Absence of any strong leadership, big ego culture Product problems created fire drills Lack of strong vision so you are always running to the next big thing that usually fizzles out Very difficult working environment and schedule with messages sent all hours and while on PTO - it was a burnout pressure cooker Inability to dissent or provide counter views to leadership Lackluster pay with bonus structure that was incredibly difficult to obtain. Low trust control. I often felt on edge. Low diversity
