Pros

Great co workers and staff. The Radiology department truly feels like a family. Small community based hospital where patient care is a top priority

Cons

Partners healthcare is horrible. They are money hungry and do not appreciate or care about their staff.

The majority of staff that work at NSMC are wonderful. I can't say enough good things about the people that I work with on a daily basis - from dietary, housekeeping, PT/OT, techs, my fellow nurses, physicians, and every other department that I didn't mention... My co-workers are what keep me loving my job! I also love the manager of the unit that I work on, though not all are as great as she is. Great benefits.

Cons

Upper management pretends to appreciate staff. For example, they will send out generic emails of appreciation, but do not do anything to show it. Pay is awful in comparison to other Partners (now Mass General Brigham) facilities due to the patient population being less financially well off, and also in comparison to other local hospitals in different networks... All while they make millions and "freeze" retirement contributions due to Covid.
