The WORST company I have ever worked for, and that's not hyperbole
Pros
They carry some great brands, but that is it
Cons
Everything from the policies and procedures (including their unbelivably ancient software) to management to the employee discount to education is all a joke, and I never got paid enough to be tortured day in and day out by bullies in the workplace (especially when management had been aware of bullies for the better part of 6 months and did NOTHING). They don't invest in their employees, especially those in the stores, and every meeting is about the bottom dollar and how to squeeze a sale out of literally every customer and annoy them to the point that they buy something just to get you to shut up - that's not a business model that I can support. The CEO also believes that his stores shouldn't be stocked because it's "money on the shelves". Well, you're not gonna make money if you don't have the product on the shelves to purchase!!!!! Every day is so mentally and emotionally taxing that it's no wonder why there's a greater than 50% turnover rate. It's really gonna bite someday (soon, hopefully) and honestly, they have no one to blame but themselves. There's, of course, nepotism to the highest degree and the CEO has built and continues to enable an environment that benefits himself in the end, while the rest of us are left out to dry.
