Pros

Opportunity to work with many different people

Cons

Extreme micro-management, lack of training, over-staffing, poor commission schedule can result in being paid less than minimum wage.

Pros

Made a good living as a commissioned sales rep, and maintained top sales rep position for several months continuous

Cons

To maintain high numbers you need to work 6 days per week and at least 10 hours per day. The schedule is set so you cannot have a personal life. There's two options and it rotates, 9am to 7pm or 11am to 9pm. They say you can have 3 days of every two weeks, but that is after your 90 day probation period. The sales reps have commission taken away if the delivery driver makes a mistake. The customer service is horrible and when the customer leaves dissatisfied, the sales rep loses commission. The cashiers are rude and overwhelmed because they are expected to do the job of 3 people. The "Corporate Manager" constantly pesters staff about "policy and procedure" which is close to impossible to follow at all times. In the 6 months I worked with the company there were 5 sales managers and countless sales reps hired and fired. Any reputable sales reps leave fast because of the way they treat their staff.

Pros

large inventory/ clean quality merchandise

Cons

extremely long work hours daily meetings; have meetings only when new info to put out? required to clock out 1 hour for lunch and work on the salesfloor training is short/needs more computertime! basic pay plan is far below market average in any retail company alot of emphasis made to "right to work state az is" more than three weeks to receive first paycheck, allow managers to have "training" to keep us in line for new products!. "team work is essential! more emphasis would help!
