A Nightmare Experience

Pros

Free samples-- Gone now updated Cute office-- Gone now update, heard office is maximum security with walls within walls Friendly coworkers-- Gone now, everyone fled

Cons

I strongly advise anyone considering employment at Sanrio Inc. to think twice before joining this company. The toll it takes on your mental health is not worth any potential benefits. The trauma, bullying environment, unprofessionalism, and unfairness that I endured have left a lasting impact on me, and I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy.

Pros

The freebies and some genuine employees

Cons

Very jaded environment. These people want overwork and over stress their employees. Low compensation and undermining management team.

Pros

I work in the US corporate office--Pay is great and benefits are slightly above average. Obviously cute brand. Business is doing well.

Cons

I would run away as far and fast as you can. No training or support from management despite many hires having no experience in the role they're hired for. Breakdown of workload doesn't make sense and is highly unbalanced. Lots of in-fighting amongst employees and between upper managers that makes it impossible to work collaboratively/cross-collaboratively. It's encouraged to nark on fellow employees to HR (you submit a report once a week). Very high turnover means your role is constantly changing and it confuses and upsets business partners. Lack of diversity--vast majority of employees are female (90+%) and mainly White or Asian.
