Pros

1. Theres 70% staff discount if you like their products or know someone who does. 2. There were a few people in the office who were lovely and tried their best to help me as a new starter.

Cons

1. If you're looking at their 'Creative Artworker / Designer' job description online, completely ignore everything it says and imagine the role as being that of a product photographer and occasional social media post designer. 2. There is no mention of photography at all in the job posting yet you will be expected to take and edit photos for 8 hours per day. 3. After being hired as a "designer" you will only be given the privilege of designing anything if you master their product photography expectations, despite your lack of product photography experience. 3. You will be micromanaged to the extreme. 4. Previous experience and qualifications count for nothing here, you will be treat like you have 0 knowledge and shown how to use CC from the basics. 5. Forget everything you already know about design because you're way of doing things is wrong and only their way is the right way. 6. Expect 0 respect from higher management and to be spoken to like a child. 7. The office environment is silent, miserable and severely demotivating. 8. There will be rules for you as the newbie and rules for those who have been with the company longer. If someone who has been there longer messes up, then expect the blame to fall to you. 9. Upon leaving the company you will be cheated out of your holiday pay, after being told you will definitely receive it to your face. The list could go on, in summary this company made me feel completely worthless and knocked my confidence severely. The micromanagement had me doubting my own skills and experience, i ended up feeling like i couldn't do anything right and if i should even continue in the industry. Towards the end of my employment I was suffering from anxiety, which i never have done before. I wasn't sleeping or eating because of the stress the environment placed me under.

Pros

The people who work here are fantastic. I have made some terrific friends and great memories here due to the wonderful people in the Rotherham office.

Cons

Where to start! The hours. You will get zero reward for working longer hours. You will get zero recognition for going the extra mile. This is almost expected of you without question. You will have no breaks (not even to make a round of tea apparently?). Any extra time you dedicate will not be paid back to you in any way, shape or form. The pay. You will be told that the money will come with experience, and although this sounds reasonable, you will have to work to the point your hair falls out to be offered a pay rise of substance. People will leave and you will inherit their work for zero extra pay. The "perks". Within my role, I was offered a laptop to help work whilst travelling. However soon after I was told that if I don't start taking the work home with me, there's no point in having it. Sort of makes sense, however I was initially told it's to help with working trade shows abroad. Don't then threaten to take the laptop away because I'm not working 24/7. Other than this, there aren't really any perks. There's no bonuses, no commission for sales, you will receive the bare minimum holidays. The most you will get is a bag of food at Christmas. I have seen many people cry working here. I have had sleepless nights myself stressing about work. I have spoken to other employees who are depressed due to the workload and respect they have been given, and all the while the owners will look the other way.

Pros

The people I had the pleasure of working with were fantastic it is a pity the majority are no longer with this company due to in my opinion poor management and demoralising absolutely everyone. Some other companies have gained some real invaluable staff.

Cons

The majority of my time with the company was enjoyable but the last 4 months were some of the worst I have experienced in my 20+years of my working life. Targets are high in fact so unrealistic are these targets management almost doubled last years quota with little basis/knowledge/explanation of how they concocted these figures or how we could realistically achieve these as no one hit last years?!? Misstrusted to get on and do the job I have successfully done with no issues for the last 3+ years. Don’t expect to get paid for overtime - working shows is expected as is giving up your free time especially weekends.
