      Pros

FIFO - different roster styles Great team Great management team Nice office and vehicles Room to grow Encouraging and supportive

      Cons

Depending on the department you are working in you can end up just being a number. It can also take years before you can climb the ladder, waiting for redundancy or retirement for example

Corrupt, Toxic, Greedy and Highly Unprofessional

      Pros

-Free biscuits, coffee and milk in the kitchen (oh wait they got taken away due to cost cutting) -The social club (oh wait the company doesn’t even provide the club with 2k a year and it is left with starving thirsty members) -The gym (oh wait the equipment is over a decade old)

      Cons

-The CEO and whole leadership team are under skilled and greedy, they use bullying and manipulation tactics to flog front line and middle management to do their work for them before taking credit for this work. There is a close correlation between dark triad personality traits and the senior leadership team.

Stay away if you have morals!

      Pros

Salary is higher than the person’s actual capability almost 99% of the time.

      Cons

HR and Senior Leadership are very corrupt and they will look the other way to protect their own. A lot of the higher management bully great employees or they just look the other way. No reward or recognition for any of their staff.

      Pros

Great opportunity to commission and operate LNG plant alongside excellent operations and maintenance technicians

      Cons

Continual erosion of employment conditions, lack of management integrity and an increasing appetite for risk pushed many employees to seek other employment

      Aug 30, 2021 - Engineer in Brisbane

      Pros

Less experienced employees are given challenging opportunities due to lack of senior team members. Potential for quick technical growth and large amount of responsibilities.

      Cons

Seriously understaffed. Lack of technical experience in senior staff leads to poor decision making, although this is not what is reported. Aggressive and constant cost challenges are exhausting. Lack of transparency around remuneration, promotions and bonuses. Flexible work policy is mostly options to work part time or purchase leave, with only one day per week allowed to work from home (at leaders discretion) which is not comparable to peers or suitable during Covid.

      Pros

Salary is the only good thing.

      Cons

CEO is a narcissistic bully, just been rewarded with $6M golden handcuffs. Staff reluctant to speak up due to fear of losing their job. Bullying culture from top down. Low Cost Operating model - means minimal staff to produce maximum output.

      Toxic workplace culture

      Pros

Money (particularly if you are male) There were some great technical people, were... however if you don't like thinking, enjoy doing what you are told and can turn a blind eye to your morals then this is the place for you. Good maternity leave (and now better paternity leave) but being a female also means you clearly weren't born intellectually capable and you will progress at half the speed of your male peers.

      Cons

Bullying culture from the top down. Do what you are told or they will find someone that will. They seem to believe their own stories, resembles little of what happens on the ground... but then only good news is allowed. You can no longer question anything, the science, the project or the prospect. Questioning or looking for discussion means you are 'not on the bus'. You can look forward to a public shout down. Technical review of projects became synonymous with roadblocks and were no longer considered necessary. Sexist toxic masculinity, the patriarchy at its best. Constant redundancies... you will never feel, or be, secure. If you make 12months without a restructure that would be a record. Have a think about the difference between emirates and tiger air.... Santos was like emirates and is now 'the lowest cost onshore operator'. Quality = time x money. There are now fewer staff doing more work with less experience and less money. The only leadership is cost. Don't think you will see any other kind. You will not be a person, just a number.
