Pros
- parking is provided - happy hour parties that takes places once in a while - lower level employees are good people - nice Christmas party
Cons
- The core values that Savoya often harp on are never applied to management. The level of disregard for employees at this company is appalling. Management show complete disregard for employees satisfaction or safety. - This company is always understaffed and multiple people have brought up to management that hiring needs to be a priority. However, Savoya's management still brags about how they only hire 1 new hire for every ~100. - There is zero room for growth or movement seeing as all the higher positions are all occupied by family members or friends of management. Growth is only lateral. - The political and religious values are rampant and is of little diversity. - The high starting pay is high because raises are very scarce and low. They are not based upon actual performance, rather it is based on how well you are liked by management and how you "serve" the "core values" - Due to the under staffing, employees are often forced to work overtime, extending hours into the 11-12 hour a day mark; meaning, no lunch break or work an hour (if not more) after the end of the shift. - The turnover rate at this company is extreme. Savoya cant seem to hire one person before they fire a few. Employees are seen as expendable and are treated as such. - Management's secrecy is disturbing. They are not honest with lower level employees at all, often lying in order to save face till they eventually fire someone. - Employees needs are not prioritized. Management will tell employees that certain popular shifts are open, however, do not give opportunities to senior employees, instead hire new ones for the popular shifts. There is certainly more cons at this company, just look at the 50+ people that are no longer with the company over this past year.
