Low wages, little room for advancement and somehow those aren't even the worst aspects about the company. Working at this company means taking on tasks that aren't even in the job description, using outdated software that competing publications no longer use, working in a crowded space, having to wait your turn to use the bathroom, not having your ideas or suggestions heard and being micromanaged which leads to low work productivity and high stress environment. The owner, publisher, whatever title Vicki refers to tends to go on power trips and yells at employees for the dumbest things including eating at desks during lunch break, not putting coats away in closet and air conditioning. Also uses non-editorial interns to assist her in running her errands, makes people cry as if she were yelling at children and forces reporters to write positive stories about her influential friends even when they compromise the ethics of being a reporter. In another work environment, she would've been removed from her position a long time ago.
