Unlimited PTO means you leave and you've earned nothing. Bosses give a side eye at a time off request.
A revolving door of management and employees.
Very 'every man for himself' environment.
Top-down management and overall abysmal communication by management. You never know if the information is in Slack, a Google Drive folder, an email, Asana, Loom, the corporate Wiki, or under a rock—the infrastructure is a mess.
Every department runs independently. There is no COO. The CEO thinks he can do everything—CEO, COO, you name it. Due to that and the lack of a central, accessible voice, some teams are completely toxic—steer clear of marketing and sales leadership/teams.
They hire out rather than mentoring and developing their current employees. There is no continuing education.
There is little to no diversity, all white leadership except a few token Middle Eastern folks (all in IT) and one black lady. The CEO has said out loud in a meeting not to use terms like "equity."
