Pros
- Dev-first company - Interesting projects and technologies - All dev co-workers are just a great bunch of friendly, competent folks - Constantly evolving tech stack - Great benefits including free gear, weekly dev talks, good-looking office/location, company/team events, sponsored growth (conferences, books, ...), occasional food treats (not very healthy options, but still) - Good dev-team leads - Introspective high-level management, eager to listen to/detect problems and improve upon them - Effort and achievement gets recognized and rewarded (with respect and financially) - Mid-term company outlook looks pretty positive with considerable growth rate - Lot's of co-worker-initiated after-work stuff happening (sports, coding, etc)
Cons
- Depending on the project/team, work life balance can be fine or plain horrific - Same managerial role sometimes being shared by multiple people just doesn't work well.. Similarly if the same person holds multiple managerial roles. - The Tunis-office management looks problematic - Months in, a promising new Data Science venture still doesn't carry it's own weight (due to management?) - Company culture hasn't yet evolved beyond building prototypes, lacking the technical perspective required for robust, production-ready applications some clients expect today - Not the place for ultra-competitive compensation potential if that's what you are looking for (for everybody else, pay and benefits are pretty good)
