      Treat their employee with zero respect

      If you happen to join a good team, your work will be smooth

      Cons

      Try how management treats you when something bad happens to your advisor. They will tell you that they want to help you, but really, they will hang you around in the meantime try to figure out how to get rid of you. They will not fire you because they don't want to pay severance, they will give you HINTS that you are not going anywhere here so you can go find yourself another job and quit. Very horrible experience at Scotia McLeod. Backstabbing team members and spineless advisors, terrible management, not recommending to work there AT ALL.

      ScotiaMcLeod has the worst training program, assistants are expected to know everything without being shown and are disrespected daily by their team. Most employees have been there decades and are stuck in their ways- new staff are expected to deal with how "things have always been done" and new ideas are shut down. Do not work here! Not enough pay for being treated like garbage!

      There is no reason to work there.

      Toxic environment with most employees feeling miserable and trapped. No one behaves or exhibits the Scotia mantra of "One Team One Goal". There is no team...its every man for himself.
