A good company to start your career in property management, terrible to remain longer than 1-2 years.
Pros
-Good benefits (with exception of tuition assistance) that are well explained by HR -They have one of the largest communities in PG county. Starting there is beneficial. -Company events, though few, are well planned. The company is respectful of all beliefs and walks of life. Again, speaks well of the HR Dept. (composed of one person). -There are a lot of good people in this company that leave a great lasting impression and are very supportive. It is important to network within this company, and it shouldn't take long to meet everyone, to know who is a great asset for you and the company.
Cons
*The leadership style of a particular VP went beyond micromanagement into harassing behavior. Big part as to why employee retention is a major issue. The portfolio has suffered a lack of staff due to politics within. (Between the two VP's, they always seem to want to one-up each other, i.e. wanting to have the last word; However, one was more reasonable than the other. ) *Preference to inexperienced bilinguals for growth within the company was very suspect aside from the small portfolio leading to a small chance of growth. *Bad employees' behavior (that affects productivity) was constantly ignored while good employees were strained out for all they had. *Tuition assistance is not as upfront as they made it seem at the start. They claim they will only assist if it helps the company. That makes sense, however, they would add too many red tapes that led to no longer pursuing assistance. *Terrible low pay not to par with experience
