Micro-Management tough working conditions with free concert tickets!
Pros
Good company benefits for staff including one free meal a day, health insurance and complementary tickets for concerts/events.
Cons
The SEC do not provide adequate time to settle into the role and learn the job description. This is a very tough, micro management environment with fake caring persona in the management team. Quick to discriminate women with children over male colleagues and will compare mothers with children to single colleagues i.e. Will always unprofessionally bring up your children for no reason in a negative way. Will apply constructive dismissal tactics (force you to quit!) if they feel you are not right for the role. HR are there to support internal managers and will not represent employees fairly. The projects worked on in this team are internal and involve a lot of paper work that you would not normally find in other project roles. Additional observations are that the salary is very low compared to the base salary in the market and colleagues (hard working) had been in the same role for 3+ years without promotion and growth. There is also little diversity as most employees in office based roles are white and only people of colour seen in the SEC are found in SEC Food.
