Pros

great salary and benefits, with upper management habit of using lower level employees to pick away at technologist position of authority. Lack of trust for honest hard working technologist.

Cons

poor work life balance and never ending work shifts. good for short term work and salary

Pros

Many years working for Scripps, I made a lot of friends.

Cons

While the facilities as 4s ranch are professional, there is a significant lack of transparency regarding "special tasks" and training for Edit team.I observed a pattern where specific co-workers were hand-picked for specialized training and higher-level responsibilities, while others in the same position were denied those same opportunities. This created a two-tier system where career advancement felt based on favoritism rather than merit or job title. There was no clear, objective process used to determine who received this kind of training. It appeared to be based on management preference rather than departmental need.
