Rewarding work, but be prepared for low pay and high workload

Rewarding work with needy families and kids A chance to make a difference.

Cons

Dreadful pay Expectation that you will attend all of the extra curriculum activities, eg: Fundraisers, working bees, school concerts etc. as well as being actively involved in your own church. I found this to be a big drain on my own families time and very exhausting. The expectation that you will be available for work during the school holidays Lack of flexibility when it comes to leave.
